Happy Thanksgiving Beacon Insiders!
I hope all of you are getting ready to eat, eat and eat some more turkey tomorrow on Thanksgiving, I know I am. The holidays are the best excuse to stuff our faces with turkey, mashed potatoes and best of all the sweets. I have to be honest, my favorite dessert is going to have to be pumpkin pie, hands down the best pie ever! Yea I'm a fan of apple, key lime but pumpkin takes the cake and eats it to!
As you are preparing to travel to your homes or perhaps Miami to spend your Thanksgiving day, we too at the Beacon prepare ourselves for this great and special holiday. Every year we have a Thanksgiving potluck, in which everyone brings a little bit of something from where they are from. For example, I brought plaintains, others brought rice & beans, salads, desserts and different types of food from their respective countries.
On this Thanksgiving holiday I am grateful for having life, happiness and being surrounded by those that I love.
I am thankful for being part of such a great hotel like the Beacon, in which we take pride in our relationships with our guests, our service and most of all, in each other. I would like to say thank you to all my co-workers here at The Beacon for such a great year in which we've had success and good times.
